WARNING!!!! MAJOR UPDATE!!!! Do not buy a Scion. Sure they're cheap and most of them even look nice. They even run pretty nice and ride nice when you buy them. But they do not last very long at all. They have more mechanical problems and defects than other vehicle on the market. Especially if used for around the town, were alot of on/off-throttle is used. They suffer badly from excessive driveline lash in on/off-thorttle conditions. There have also been many complaints to dealerships apout the paint chipping, cracking, and peeling. As well as the complaints about the interiors coming apart, in ways such as, cloth/leather falling of doors, lots of ratteling after a while, interior panels coming loose, and coming off. On a sclae of 1-5 the mechanical manufacturing quality was rated a 2, the mechanical design was only rated a three. The only things that were rated a four or above (4 being above average, 5 being excellent) were the interior styling(looks) and the feature and accessory manufacturing quality. So while they look nice and have many geat features, their mechanics are below average to average at best. That three or four year finance you have on your Scion will outlast the car itself. Although they did score a 4 out of 5 in overall crash test ratings.
= CRAP!!!!
In other news, the Japanese have finally managed to build a truck that scored higher than an American truck. The Toyota Tundra has beat out The Ford F-150, Dodge Ram1500, and the Chevy Silverado1500 in all the reviews and tests. But on my personel review I would say buy the F-150. I drive and ride in one all the time and I love it more than any other truck I have ever riden in. It has the power, comfort, and durability that everyone want's in a truck.
In motorcycle news, the Hyabusa is still the fastest factory street bike on the road. Following close behind is the Harley-Davidson VRSCA or V-Rod. While the Hyabusa can easily outperform the V-Rod in handling aspects, the V-Rod is a much more comfortable ride, with that real feeeling of power you get from a Harley.
